What happened to Helmac?
A:
Nothing! In 1999, Helmac introduced the consumer brand,
Evercare. Since its debut, we have heard
nothing but positive comments and have been fortunate
to dramatically increase our sales. In recognition of
Evercares success, in early 2003 we changed the
companys name to The Evercare Company. Same soul,
new name!
Q:
Where can I find the Large Surface Pic-Up I saw in Good
Housekeeping?
A: These are available at Target in the Pet Dept. under
the Boots & Barkley label and at Bed, Bath &
Beyond under the Evercare Label.
Q:
Where can I find refills for the Lint Pic-Up?
A: You can find most refills at Target, Walmart, Kmart,
BB&B, LNTs, Petco, Petsmart, CVS, Eckerds,
Walgreens, The Container Store, Meijers, Fred Meyers,
Alberstons and many other retailers.
Q:
Will your cedar products harm my clothes if they touch
them directly?
A: Our cedar products are all natural and will not harm
clothing. If you are uncomfortable placing the cedar
in direct contact with your clothing, we recommend wrapping
the cedar in cheese cloth.
Q:
My Cedar has lost its scent
.what can I do?
A: In order to renew your cedar, you should simply sand
it with sandpaper. We recommend a #80 grit.
Q:
How do I use the Cedar
..how many should I put
in a closet?
A: Its truly up to personal taste as to how much
cedar aroma is required, but we recommend placing cedar
in 2 to 3 increments throughout a closet.

Why does my refill not fit onto the handle?
A: First, make sure the refill and handle state Evercare
or Helmac. If not, it will not fit as you have a competitors
product. If they both do state either Evercare or Helmac,
simply hold the handle in one hand and the handle in
the other. Then, slightly twist & turn as you slide
the refill on. It will fit perfectly!

Can I place an order? Do you sell your products online?
A: As the manufacturer and in support of our retailers,
we do not sell directly to consumers. However, you can
order from one of our distributors; Ely Yawitz or Tri
Supply and we would be happy to provide their information.
Q:
Why does my refill fly off the handle?
A: This is usually caused by the little teeth
on the end of the handle breaking off. This occurs with
extended use and is typically a sign that it is time
to purchase a new handle. We recommend an industrial
strength handle to those customers that are heavy users
and we would be pleased to provide that information

Where can I find the Stain Eraser?
A: The Stain Eraser is available at Peytons, The
Container Store, and Meijers. You can also order directly
from our distributor Ely Yawitz.
Q:
My refill is not slit all the way through. What happened?
A: Occasionally, this can happen when our equipment
approaches its maintenance check-ups. We will gladly
send a replacement roll at no charge to you!

Q: What is your order minimum and is there a fee for
orders below minimum?
A: Our order minimum is $250 on all orders. In order
to be consistent with all customers, we do not make
exceptions.
Q:
Do you drop ship and is there a fee?
A: We drop ship at no extra charge as long as it meets
our order and our freight minimums.
Q:
What is the minimum order I need to place in order to
receive free freight?
A: We pay for freight on orders over $450 with standard
shipping requirements.
Q:
How do I set up an account to place an order?
A: To place an order, you must fill out a credit application
and simply meet our $250 minimum. However, we do not
sell directly to Hotels, Drycleaners, Hospitals or Pet
Stores. For those customers, we will gladly recommend
a distributor who sells our product to those markets.

What is the status of my order?
A: If you can provide the Purchase Order # we will gladly
